Freebie Fridays!

Well it's been busy here at Chobhi! We are so excited by the response so far, and all the media coverage! There will be some more in the coming weeks so keep checking back for updates. Our daytime jobs have been keeping us busy too, sorry for the lack of posting, but we hope to make up for it a bit with today's Freebie Friday! We love designing these free printables to share with everyone!

Valentines Day is coming up next week so we designed this simple cheerful card that can be printed on letter sized paper. Cardstock would be the best, but regular paper will do in a pinch! Just fold in the middle and you are done.

I'm not a big fan of pink, and I think Valentine's day should not only be for couples but for friends too! So I made sure this card was colourful and could be used for anyone! Celebrate the someone in your life who loves your weirdness!

Who doesn't love chocolate?! The best gifts always include a Chobhi scarf & chocolate!! This Valentine's gift your loved one a gift that expresses love and warmth!

Peacock Love!

One of my favorite scarves is the Moyur scarf depicting peacock feathers. Peacock feathers are beautiful to me for several reasons. I have always associated them with India, as I grew up with them decorating my parents bedroom walls. They had brought two peacock feather fans with them when they had moved from India to Canada. My eye has always been attracted to iridescence and I loved playing with the peacock feather fan to see how the feathers colours changed depending on how I look at them. To capture the beauty of peacock feathers has always been a goal for me and I was finally able to on a farm in Ottawa, where one peacock was very proudly displaying his feathers.

Pakhi Inspiration!

Pakhi is one of my favourite types of photographs, the unexpected beauty that you see on an ordinary day. Thousands of crows all sitting in a group of leafless trees, on an overcast autumn day. You just hope that you can capture what you see in front of you, in a photo, and when you have you smile. I wish I could have captured the sound of all those birds talking to each other as well, it was all so beautiful, and so unexpected!
