Relaunch and Redesign of Chobhi Blog!

Today marks a year and a half since we launched Chobhi. It's been an amazing year and a half, and we are so looking forward to seeing where this journey will take us. The response has been so amazing that we have taken a big step, and are dedicating our time fully to Chobhi. That means we have left our full-time "regular" jobs....gulp! Our passion is with Chobhi, so though it's a scary step, it's a necessary one to help us grow.

This blog has been neglected, but now that we have time to dedicate to it, we are looking forward to bringing back D.I.Y. tutorials, artist features, link round-ups, posts on products we love, and daily photographs. A fresh start deserves a fresh look, so we have completely redesigned the blog, so it is simple to navigate.

We are going to start a new tradition, starting today. On the first day of every month we will have a Desktop Wallpaper Calendar for you to download and use. Every desktop calendar will feature photography taken by Chobhi's Tanima Majumdar. Just click on the image that will work best on your monitor, save a copy, and use as your desktop background.

May's calendar features a lovely open purple tulip, just the perfect image for spring!

Well it's been busy here at Chobhi! We are so excited by the response so far, and all the media coverage! There will be some more in the coming weeks so keep checking back for updates. Our daytime jobs have been keeping us busy too, sorry for the lack of posting, but we hope to make up for it a bit with today's Freebie Friday! We love designing these free printables to share with everyone!

Valentines Day is coming up next week so we designed this simple cheerful card that can be printed on letter sized paper. Cardstock would be the best, but regular paper will do in a pinch! Just fold in the middle and you are done.

I'm not a big fan of pink, and I think Valentine's day should not only be for couples but for friends too! So I made sure this card was colourful and could be used for anyone! Celebrate the someone in your life who loves your weirdness!

Freebie Fridays!

A recent surprise note that came in the mail reminded me how nice it is to get snail mail.
I designed this so you can easily send a thank you note by mail. I like the idea of the outside being plain white, while the inside is colourful and cheerful! Use glue or double-sided tape to seal the edges. Make someone smile, and tell them how much you appreciate them!

Freebie Fridays!

I love blogs that are always sharing great printables and downloads. So every Friday I will be sharing printables that I have designed. I am not talented enough to draw on illustrator and create my own designs, so I often use free brush sets, available on great sites like Brusheezy. The brush set used today is by Seishido. It's one of my favourites as it has vintage looking paisley ornaments.

It's a simple to-do list in my favourite colour purple. It's much nicer to make a list on pretty paper, and its very satisfying to have something to check off immediately. Hope you enjoy it!
